Autism isn’t a single condition—it’s a spectrum that includes a wide variety of developmental profiles. Some children who are judged to be on this spectrum avoid eye contact, while others struggle with communication or social interaction. Even highly capable children may experience isolation and a lack of understanding from peers and adults.
In this training, you’ll explore the early developmental signs of autism, especially during infancy and the preschool years. You’ll learn what to look out for as a teacher, how to recognize atypical behaviours, and what actions to take if you suspect a student may be on the spectrum.
The course offers clear, practical information to help you respond appropriately and professionally in situations that require early intervention and collaboration.
This training is ideal for preschool and early primary educators, who are often the first to notice early developmental differences.
Anna is a seasoned special education teacher and therapist, specialising in working with children with special educational needs. She holds a degree in special pedagogy and is a PhD candidate at the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. Although she also lectures and trains, she remains first and foremost a hands-on teacher and therapist working with both preschool and school-aged children. Continuously expanding her skills – from fine motor therapy to sensory integration – she inspires educators by showing how theory can be translated into real support for students.
