Today’s students live in a world where the boundary between digital and real life is increasingly blurred. A smartphone isn’t just a way to communicate—for them it’s entertainment, a necessary tool to help them plan their courses of action, and a constant companion. For many teens, being without their phone causes anxiety, and restrictions placed on them to its use often trigger resistance.
In this course, you’ll explore what drives students’ strong attachment to their phones—and the psychological mechanisms behind it. Rather than fighting against technology you’ll learn how to support students in developing mindful, moderate, and purposeful phone habits that serve their personal growth.
Jolanta Kawaler, a trainer with deep experience of working with young people, will also show you how to encourage real-life connections and build meaningful relationships with these young people —not through the medium of Wi-Fi, but through conversation, activity, and mutual understanding.
This course is designed for teachers and classroom mentors who want to respond effectively to the digital challenges of modern education.
Jolanta is a multifaceted expert – a teacher, trainer in both education and business, deputy director of a psychological-educational counselling centre, as well as a mediator and career advisor with broad experience. A graduate of history at the Jagiellonian University, and an expert in health and safety, education management, and court mediation, she brings strong expertise and hands-on solutions to every session. Participants value her creativity and sense of humour – a combination that makes even complex behavioural techniques easy to grasp and apply.
